Passing of the Peace God Loves You and There is Nothing You Can Do About It
Prayer (in unison) Dear God, You who we call by many names, we come to experience the truth of our oneness and our interconnectedness with all life forms everywhere here in the beauty of the ocean. Please bless our small church that it may boldly walk to save our children with our mother bear instinct intact. May we dedicate our lives to the care of all children who are our own, as well as all living sacred creatures here on our common home Mother Earth. You the God of love, we come to pray and give thanks for the wonder of all nature that is alive and sacred. Thank you for every grain of sand on this beach, for every star in the sky and for every moment we are here together. May our church help to write a new religious story for our time including women in leadership, and may we dedicate our lives to care for all the earths children and all creatures everywhere. Fill our hearts with love we pray that we now that all that is alive is our neighbor. Amen
Please share what you are grateful for.

Scripture Gospel of Mary Magdalene (For anyone who have not received one please take a gift of the pink copy of the Gospel of Mary Magdalene)
“Peter responded, bringing up similar concerns. He questioned them about Jesus. “Did he then, speak with a woman in private without our knowing it? Are we to turn around and listen to her? Did he choose her over us?” ….Levi answered, speaking to Peter, “Peter, you have always been a wrathful person. Now I see you contending against the woman like the Adversaries. For if Jesus made her worthy, who are you then for your part to reject her? Assuredly, the Savior’s knowledge of her is completely reliable. That is why he loved her more than us.”

Musical Response Sometimes I Feel Like a Motherless Child
Sometimes I feel like a motherless child… a long way from home….
Sometimes I feel like I have no friend...a long way from home….
Sometimes I feel like I’m almost gone….a long way from home…
Scripture Gospel of Luke 10:25-37 The Inclusive new Testament and Rev. Bonnie’s translation
We will read two different versions and ask three questions.
1.What word or short phrase strikes you? 2. What does this have to do with your life? 3. From what I am learning from these scriptures what is God calling me to do, be or transform into?
Offering for church (We thank you for your support of this ministry)
Closing PrayerSt. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi Prayer
Make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy, And where there is sadness, joy, joy, joy. God grant that I may not so much seek; To be consoled as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born, to Eternal Life. Amen, Amen, Amen
Musical Response This Little Light of Mine
Set those children free, they belong with you and me…..
This little dream of mine, it’s gonna be my guide….
This little dance of mine dancing with God all the time….

Communion is our pot luck dinner at the Mary Magdalene Café at the beach.
Invitations: Our current ecologic crisis is a call to awaken to the reverence of life and the truth that all nature is alive and sacred. As we witness the sixth extinction of life on earth, the only one created by us humans, we are invited to reclaim the ancient wisdom traditions. We are one organic, interspecies, interconnected whole. What we do affects everyone else. Every Sunday at 5 pm we acknowledge that we need one another more than ever before . and commune with the Great Spirit. We celebrate the wisdom traditions from the East, West, indigenous peoples, new science as we study the teachings of Jesus, Mary Magdalene and the Bible and the newly found gnostic gospels.
