Meditation “For the better part of seventy years, I’ve been aware of a non-physical aspect to the world around me. As a child, this usually took the form of perceiving radiance or emanation of energy surrounding the things around me. My earliest memories are of world in which everything is live….From time to time, I even observed beings—sometimes human, sometimes not—who would appear and disappear seemingly at random….(as an adult)I was visited one morning by an unusually strong and energetic radiant spirit who said we had work to do together…..we entered a collegial partnership that lasted for nearly thirty years.” David Spangler Working with Subtle Energies

Closing PrayerSt. Francis and St. Clare of Assisi Prayer

Make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy, And where there is sadness, joy, joy, joy. God grant that I may not so much seek; To be consoled as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born, to Eternal Life. Amen, Amen, Amen

Scripture30Suddenly they saw two men, Moses and Elijah, talking to him. 31They appeared in glory and were speaking of his departure, which he was about to accomplish at Jerusalem. 32Now Peter and his companions were weighed down with sleep; but since they had stayed awake, they saw his glory and the two men who stood with him.

Scripture 33

Just as they were leaving him, Peter said to Jesus, “Master, it is good for us to be here; let us make three dwellings, one for you, one for Moses, and one for Elijah” —not knowing what he said. 34While he was saying this, a cloud came and overshadowed them; and they were terrified as they entered the cloud. 35Then from the cloud came a voice that said, “This is my Son, my Chosen; listen to him!” 36When the voice had spoken, Jesus was found alone. And they kept silent and in those days told no one any of the things they had seen.

Chant Sweet will of God, still fold me closer. Till I am wholly lost in Thee. (repeat)
