Opening Hymn       We Gather Together

Opening Musical Prayer       Our Dear, Dear Mother by Raffi
Our dear, dear Mother, daily provider, earth be your name. The time has come, to honor you, to know you and to show our love.” 1.You give us each day our daily grain, kissed by the sun and kissed by the rain. Teach us now to find a way to care for you in our work and play. Chorus2.Within the beauty of your silent spin, we know you’re hurting and we feel your pain your pain. With your forgiveness we can start anew. We need a chance to make it up to you. Chorus

Prayer in Unison  Dear God,  Goddess, You who we call by many names, You are in us and all over the place- in every living thing,  up and down, inside our bodies  and you who we live inside, for you are the vastness of the galaxies-- we come  to say thank you. You are creativity, energy and light, and you are dancing in star dust and stars, plants and animals, oceans and  mountains, clouds and  air, and all  life that  dances  in cells and atoms; You who are love,  truth, dreams  and all holiness that is  invisible to our eyes.  You who are the net of relationships —you are an awesome God and we give you thanks.  You God are the unity that is the all, beyond words yet as close as our breath.  You who are the sacred interconnectedness-- we give thanks for our part of your miraculous oneness of creation. Our hearts are filled with awe and gratitude for our life and for all life and for you gracious God that animates us all.  Thank you.  We come also to make confession for we are often selfish,  greedy as well as ignorant of the harm we do and we ask  for your forgiveness. Please forgive us for the harm we do intentionally and the harm we do that we are not aware of.  We long to be close to you and to spiritually grow and become more loving to all of creation. Please guide us in this time of global and ecological crisis that Our Common Home, a church and counseling center will be a source of service, inspiration, healing and love.  Amen

Prayers  (We will go around the circle and you are invited to lift up prayers of those in need or say Pass.)

Unison Prayer  Mother/Father God who is within us, we celebrate your many names. Your wisdom come, your will be done, unfolding from the depths within us. Each day you give us all that we need. You remind us of our limits and we let go. You support us in our power and we act with courage. For you are the dwelling place within us, the empowerment around us, and the celebration among us, now and forever. Ame

Closing Prayer         St Francis of Assisi Prayer
Make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred let me sow love; Where there is injury, pardon; Where there is doubt, faith; Where there is despair, hope; Where there is darkness, light; And where there is sadness, joy, And where there is sadness, joy, joy, joy. God grant that I may not so much see; To be consoled as to console; To be understood, as to understand; To be loved as to love; For it is in giving that we receive, It is in pardoning that we pardoned. And it is in dying that we are born, to Eternal Life. Amen, Amen, Amen
